The RF Ministry for Education and Science has decided to revise the curriculum of national history by expanding the textbooks to include paragraphs about “falsification of the facts about Russia’s past in prejudice of its interests,” and preparing special teachers’ guides.According to the RF Ministry for Education and Science, “falsification of history becomes a means of political struggle”, whilst interpretation of key events and facts of Russian history and tracing of the trajectory of Russia’s future on this basis as well as predicting its impact on the world community gains a special role in creating a new image of Russia.”
