Prior to the start of a new academic year another integral seminar-conference on the organization of federal contests for pre-school specialists took place in St. Petersburg. At the conference a number of prominent speakers presented their messages, such as M. Verkhovkina, Сandidate of Sociological Sciences, Head of Pre-School Education Department at St. Petersburg Pedagogical Post-graduate Academy with her speech “Pre-schoolers health monitoring at the 3rd All-Russian contest “Healthy Family Through Kindergarten”; T. Kovalenko — pediatric prevention treatment program coordinator at the Department of Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation Medicine of St. Petersburg Medical Post-Graduate Academy; N. Chernenkova, Deputy Head of Care and Rehabilitation Kindergarten no. 69 “Marina” in Krasnogvardeisky district of St. Petersburg. Several speeches were held concerning the Decree of the President no. 761 d/d 01.07.2012 “On 2012-2017 National Action Strategy for Benefit of Children”, including Y. Antonov, Director-General of Multisectoral Pre-School Integration Centre, Chairman of the Moscow region branch of Russian Sociologists Association; V. Kovalenko, Head of the Department of Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation Medicine of the St. Petersburg Medical Post-Graduate Academy, Candidate of Medical Sciences. The speakers emphasized the necessity to implement as part of the “National strategy” the projects within “A Healthy Pre-Schooler” contest, first shown at the Russian Education Forum’2012 (General media partner – The “Russian Education Newsletter” magazine). The conference participants unanimously agreed to organize in November 2012 through May 2013 several federal contests such as “A Healthy Pre-Schooler”, “Healthy Family through Kindergarten” and some categories of the contest “Constellation of Technology Cities” at the Russian Education Forum’2013 which is to take place on March 26-28 at Sokolniki Exhibition and Convention Centre.
